PLAYFOOD Consortium Opens Submission Period for Digital Game-Based Platform Tender

The PLAYFOOD consortium, led by EduQuest, announces that the submission period for the PLAYFOOD Digital Game-Based Platform (MVP) tender is now officially open. Interested suppliers are invited to submit their offers in accordance with the Request for Proposals (RFP) “PLAYFOOD-DIGITAL-PLATFORM-2025-01”, published on 5 January 2026.

The tender concerns the design and development of a browser-based, game-based learning platform aimed at helping children aged 9–14 explore sustainable, healthy and informed food choices. The project is funded under the European Union’s SMP-CONS-2024-EDU programme (Grant Agreement No. 101196354).

Key dates for tenderers

  • Deadline for submission of questions: 12 January 2026
  • Publication of consolidated Q&A: 14 January 2026
  • Closing date for submission of offers: 18 January 2026, 23:59 CET

All offers must be submitted electronically in line with the instructions provided in the RFP. Questions and submissions must be sent exclusively by email to: info@eduquest.gr.

To submit an offer:

  • Fill in the Playfood_RFP Submission Template with your approach for designing the Playfood digital game-based platform, and save it as pdf
  • Prepare a Declaration on Honour according to the instructions provided in the Playfood_Request for Proposals document
  • Send all the information to info@eduquest.gr before the deadline.

The PLAYFOOD consortium encourages all qualified suppliers with experience in game-based learning, co-design, and web-based interactive development to participate.
