Presentation of Naoussa’s European Actions by EduQuest at the Aegean College Conference on “Ecological Crisis & Economic Impact”

Representatives of EduQuest traveled to Athens to present the educational initiatives implemented in Naoussa regarding the Circular Economy and the Bioeconomy.

The 2nd conference “Ecological Crisis & Economic Impact: Adaptation, Innovation & Resilience” organized by Aegean College under the auspices of the Region of Attica and the Ministry of Environment & Energy, aimed to highlight the multi-level relationships between the climate crisis, innovation, and sustainable development.

In this context, Charalambos Vassiliadis, representing EduQuest, participated as an honorary speaker on the conference panel. In his speech, Mr. Vassiliadis presented the challenges faced by rural areas, as well as the need for funding for the education of young people in critical sectors of the economy. He also presented the co-funded European programs implemented in Naoussa through EduQuest, in collaboration with the 1st Gymnasium of Naoussa “LAPPEIO” (RECIBIOS project) and the 1st Lyceum of Naoussa (BEE project), as innovative initiatives to strengthen students’ skills and knowledge on environmental issues.
